Completed NEPA Public Scoping Meetings and Transcripts
USACE hosted twelve (12) NEPA public scoping meetings in the metropolitan areas identified on the map below. The meeting dates, venues and meeting materials are listed below.
The public scoping period is closed. Public scoping comments were accepted from November 16, 2010 through March 31, 2011. Meeting transcripts are posted below. See Stay Involved for ways to stay up-to-date with GLMRIS.
Public comment is meant to inform the scope of the study in accordance with the NEPA laws and regulations. Comments that help the GLMRIS Team identify the issues that stakeholders consider significant or not significant are important contributions to the study process. The GLMRIS Team has taken great effort to proofread the transcripts posted on this Web page. We recognize that there may be misspelled names or other minor inaccuracies.
