GLMRIS - Brandon Road Public Meeting Added and Comment Period Extended to January 30

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is pleased to invite the public to participate in an additional GLMRIS - Brandon Road scoping meeting to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 8, 2015. The meeting will take place from 3-6 p.m. at the USACE New Orleans District Office, Assembly Room A, located at 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Virtual participation will also be available via a webinar.

The public scoping meeting will begin with a brief presentation regarding the study followed by an oral comment period. Online registration to speak will close at 10 AM central time the day of the meeting. Those who do not register to speak via the GLMRIS website may also register at the meeting. Priority will be given to those who register on the website.

USACE is also pleased to announce an extension of the comment period. Public input on the scope of the GLMRIS - Brandon Road effort will be accepted through January 30, 2015. Comments may be submitted at the public meeting, through the GLMRIS website, or via traditional mail and/or hand-delivery.
